THE MIXTAPE CATALOGUE OF "MOSS DA BEAST" PT. 1
Before the album "Lebron Jordan Kobe" comes out I wanted to let my people see the journey it took to get here for the 1st official album to be released...
Shortly after deciding to embark on a solo career the 1st project came out and was titled "Almost There" I titled it Almost There becauase I felt really close to being where I needed to be as far as my life and career goals go. I worked on this project closely with my producer friends Yella tha OG and Chino.. Yella hosted it, and made alot of tracks for it and Chino was featured on one and also did the mastering for it. When this dropped the streets of nashville were buzzin in my favor. I had 2 release parties one at Sports Page and the other at Jazz n Jokes .. Both clubs downtown.. Not bad for a first release as a solo artist in a city that im not even from huh...
A few months after the Release of "Almost There" Moss felt the love from his fans and wanted to give it back so he decided to put together a project called Dyin 2 live based off of one of his most heart felt songs to date.. He teamed with Dj king supreme once again and dropped the project that would keep his buzz going and carry him into his next phase of growth as an MC. Dying to Live featured tracks from Heavy weights such as BandPlay, Syksense, Yella tha OG and more. It showed how heartfelt and Soulful My beat selection can be and I relieved alot of stress from missing my son on this project.
Project number 3 for Moss Da Beast was Almost There 2 which dropped on thanksgiving the next year 2011. This tape was more like an album.. NO DJ was included and the production stepped up another Level. Moss continued the Almost THere series with the help of his music brother Ron Ford.. (son of funk Legend Ron Prophet Ford of PFunk) RON FORD aka Frequent Flyer Ford helped Moss with his sound by becoming the main engineer for the recording process and laced the mastering as well.. During the promo of this tape both went to L.A. during all star weekend and they pushed their music in hollywood and even compton. Well received Moss became enthused about releasing videos so The LIve From the Elevator video was released thanks to a video director by the name of James Da Pain
